We continue to wait for our Dossier 1 application to be reviewed and accepted by India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA). We sent it in for review on December 12, 2023, and we expect it to take about 4 months for it to be reviewed and approved. We hope to hear from them within the next month or so. In the meantime, we have been applying for grants and reading books about adoption that have been recommended by our social worker and friends. We are daily trusting that God is orchestrating this timeline. In this time of waiting, we would appreciate your prayers. Below are our specific prayer requests:
- Pray for our child in India who has likely been born already.
- Pray for us to continue to be patient and trust God in this process.
- Pray that our application is free from errors and will be accepted once reviewed.
- Pray for stamina for us as we fill out more paperwork for grant applications.
