We received news that our case has been filed in the India court system, with a scheduled hearing for this Friday, October 18th. We have a representative in India who will be attending on our behalf. We've heard it is very common for court dates to be postponed/rescheduled once the day arrives. Please be praying that the judge will be prepared and available to hear our case on the 18th, and that a verbal order will be issued for our adoption. A verbal order is issued, followed by a written order only a few weeks later, and then the process of aligning travel would begin!
With the 11 hour time difference between the US and India please be praying for our hearing on Thursday...which is Friday morning in India!
